    Equities drop sends oil down average $2.6
    (5/7/2010) Since Monday, the price per bbl of our monitored benchmarks in settlements for June delivery has fallen an average of US$11.19 from the mid- to upper-$80s to the mid- to lower-$70s a bbl. Analysts attribute the precipitous drop to the plunge of the euro to a 14-month low against the US dollar, in which oil is denominated, because of uncertainty about the prospect of a spread of the Greek economic debacle into other vulnerable European economies...Complete Daily Prices & Analysis
