Argentina expropriation of YPF unwise

Over the past quarter or so, Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales (YPF) de Argentina has been targeted by the administration of Argentine President Cristina Fernandez for nationalization claiming that the Repsol majority owned company has not been investing sufficiently in the exploration and development of its holdings in the country. Atlantic split: eastern prices higher, western lower

(5/15/2012) United States futures extended their losses today on indications that domestic crude inventories grew significantly last week and on mixed economic reports for the US that are seen as indicative of slower growth.
